About K. Aleisha Fetters

fitness trainer and journalist K Aleisha Fetters

With my strong voice — and even stronger belief that health is for everyone — I’ve spent my entire career at the corner of wellness and words.

I’ve been fortunate enough to write and and edit for pubs including TIME, Women’s Health, Men’s Health, Runner’s World, SELF, SHAPE, U.S. News & World Report, Everyday Health, Men’s Fitness, and Yahoo! Health.

My own books — Give Yourself MORE, Fitness Hacks for Over 50,  The Woman’s Guide to Strength Training, and My Pocket Guide to Stretching — are also on shelves now.

I’ve supported consumers at every stage of their wellness journeys for Mattress Firm, Exos, The Vitamin Shoppe, Excedrin, Maven Clinic, Ness, FitOn, MyFitnessPal, Equinox, Brooks, Peloton, and Nike.

Every day, I work with top researchers, wellness experts, and healthcare leaders, enjoying the best schooling the world has to offer. I also have my CSCS (certified strength and conditioning specialist) certification from the National Strength and Conditioning Association, which is a fancy way of saying I know my stuff.

Because I’m trained both as a creator and health expert, I have a keen ability to create relevant, research-backed content that filters out the noise of the industry and focuses on what actually works.
