The promise of fasted cardio is so attractive. On the surface, it also makes sense: Head into your sweat session first thing in the morning before breakfast, and, since there’s no food in your system for your body to use as fuel, your body will burn the fat you’ve stored for energy instead. But that isn’t the whole story.
